Our weekly meetings are held Tuesdays at 7:15 PM at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, E. 403 Main Street in Durham. Click here for a map and here for specific directions. See below for details on this month's schedule!
Dinner generally happens after everything else.
Fighter Practices are on Thursdays at Herndon Park near Southpoint Mall
Fighting happens if it is over 40 degrees (according to noaa.gov) and nothing is precipitating from the sky.
Google Directions or:
Take I-40 to the Fayetteville Rd exit (Southpoint), head south past the mall, turn left on Scott King Rd, and the park is on the left.
Bring your heavy fighting armor and your rapier armor.
Rapier practice begins at 5:30 and goes until 8, or until the heavies chase them away.
Heavy practice begins at 6:00 PM.
We do not have provisions for archery at the moment, sorry. We do have some loaner heavy and rapier armor though (men should remember to wear athletic protection). Also bring water and bug spray. If you bring someone who isn't fighting, bring a chair for them to sit in. Spectators are always welcome.
Be aware that the park bathrooms may not be open, so plan accordingly.
Please send an email here for further information on Rapier fighting.
Please contact the Marshall for further information on Armored fighting.
